Key Biscayne Community Foundation Invites Island Families and Residents to the Annual Chanukah Celebration

Key Biscayne, FL (November 21, 2023) – The Key Biscayne Community Foundation (KBCF) invites the residents of Key Biscayne to celebrate the holiday of Chanukah at Key Biscayne’s annual Chanukah Celebration at the Village Green on at 5 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023.

The event is hosted by the Chabad Key Biscayne Jewish Center, whose message is to create a vibrant Jewish community that will promote and strengthen Jewish awareness, pride and community through educational, cultural and social activities for all Jewish individuals and families living in Key Biscayne, regardless of background or affiliation.

“It’s a chance for the Key Biscayne community to come together and celebrate Chanukah. It’s open to everyone in the community,” says Rabbi Avremel Caroline. “The Chanukah holiday celebrates a miracle; the miracle of the victory of light over darkness. It speaks to the Jewish resilience to preserve our identity, traditions and faith, especially during challenging times.”

“One of the qualities of the light of Chanukah is how it shines a message of positivity, faith, and truth. The Jewish people have survived threats of annihilation in every generation, and what has kept us together is this light, and the values and unity it represents.”

Event-goers are encouraged to bring their loved ones and family to celebrate in an unforgettable night during the holiday season.

The event will include a Menorah lighting led by Mayor Joe Rasco, live music, entertainment and your favorite Chanukah delicacies. Learn more about how to participate in this magical evening by visiting www.chabadkeyb.com. This event is free admission.
