Corona Caring Fund Application
The Corona Caring Fund’s mission is to provide a mechanism to assist these employees obtain groceries for themselves and their families during their time unemployed.
The first group to receive aid are the employees of Miami Plastic Surgery (MPS), where 28 of the 31 employees have been placed on furlough as of March 20, 2020. With success and additional funding secured, we will expand to other affected members of the Key Biscayne community.
To apply, submit the online application below. You will need to supply your name, address, email address, occupation, household size, and preferred grocery store (Publix or Winn Dixie). Grants will be reviewed on a weekly basis and will award up to $100 on a gift card to their designated grocer.
Note: individuals may reapply for additional support every two weeks, and the maximum award is $100 per two weeks. Gift cards will be delivered via the Key Biscayne Community Foundation.
