Key Biscayne, FL (November 21, 2023) – The Key Biscayne Community Foundation (KBCF) is the fiscal sponsor for the annual holiday concert hosted by Key Biscayne Piano Festival. The Miami Ocean Orchestra will be performing a medley of favorite holiday classics.
The Key Biscayne Piano Festival aims to kick off the holidays by bringing together the community for a joyous night of worldwide famous holiday classics. A string orchestra will regale residents with a high-quality performance that rivals that of shows in Vienna or New York. The Miami Ocean Orchestra is composed of musicians from the best orchestras in all South Florida.
“Miami Orchestra is an orchestra I build for each concert. I call the best musicians from South Florida’s orchestras. And that’s why we do it on a Thursday because they’re normally hired by other orchestras the other days. We try to bring the best for the island’s residents right in our backyard.”
“The idea is to spread joy and cheerfulness,” says Amarylli Fridegotto, Founder and Executive Director, “You come to our concert and you see 6 year olds to 90 year olds. It’s a transcendental audience and I love it!”
This is a one-hour event without intermission, free and open to the public. Seats are on a “first come, first serve” basis.
