No CommentsI have never been involved with ASK or other volunteer opportunities until I recently retired. Now I find myself paying it forward by volunteer work within KB Community. My involvement includes: cooking for homeless (once a month for St. Agnes); Pickleball – introduced w/Ed Stone and now run weekly activity for ASK and KB seniors;

As a retiree, I give my time and talent as part of being a citizen. It’s also one of the ways to be active, which is essential for seniors who want to be healthy as they age.

I give back to the Fourth of July Parade because it is one of the ways that I can manifest my pride to be American. We can never loose sight of what freedom is and means, and we have to proclaim it, defend it, and above all, honor it.

As well as being the member of the Board of Directors for Key Biscayne Community Foundation, Jennifer Wanner is a Senior Tax Associate at Lancaster & Reed on Key Biscayne. Wanner focuses on US taxation of international transactions including foreign trusts, partnerships and corporate interests abroad, and assists tax-exempt organizations with their annual filings.
