Hogan Family Foundation
The Hogan Family Foundation was founded by Jim Hogan to honor the legacy of his late wife, his beloved Nadine, by supporting the charitable work that they cared about. This fund will support the following charitable organizations and programming.
The Hogan Family Foundation’s goals are threefold:
- To support the local Catholic Church and the Archdiocese of Miami;
- To support education; and
- To support various local senior programs.
Learn More About Nadine Hogan
Nadine Maye Davis, originally from Centralia, Illinois, embarked on a remarkable educational journey, culminating in her graduation from what is now Saint Louis University nursing school in Missouri in 1964. Later, she pursued her passion for communications and obtained a master’s degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder in 1978.
Nadine Hogan held esteemed positions within various organizations throughout her illustrious career, leaving a lasting impact. Her Washington, D.C. journey began in 1981 when she joined as a White House personnel officer after actively participating in the Ronald Reagan presidential campaign in Colorado. In 1982 she transitioned to the Peace Corps, devoting herself to its mission until 1985, when she joined the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Nadine’s tenure at USAID extended until the early 1990s, coinciding with the conclusion of the George H.W. Bush presidency.
Notably, Nadine served as the associate director for the Peace Corps’ domestic operations. She was also the mission director for Central America and Panama at the USAID. Following her departure from USAID, Nadine utilized her expertise through consulting engagements and made valuable contributions by serving on various boards, such as the Pan American Development Foundation and Caribbean-Central American Action.
Nadine and her husband, Jim, resided in Alexandria, with the added pleasure of maintaining a winter home on Key Biscayne. Today, Nadine’s legacy thrives as Jim, their daughter, and grandson, remain committed to honoring her memory through philanthropic initiatives and charitable contributions.
