FAB Campers
Need a break from the dog days of summer? Gather your local “pod” and join FAB CAMPERS for an impactful and educational eco-experience.
Through a partnership with the Key Biscayne Community Foundation, FAB CAMPERS produces impactful eco-conscious clean up activities at Key Biscayne’s parks and beaches for local area pods.
How it Works
- Schedule a date and time for your pod.
- FillABag will contact your leader and confirm the clean up location and group’s objectives.
- Each clean up will be age and audience appropriate.
- All clean ups will be in and around Key Biscayne’s parks, beaches, and neighborhoods.
- FillABag will provide all materials for participants.
Scheduled clean ups may be tailored for a variety of groups: youth camps, local area businesses, active senior pods, friends and family packs, athletic teams, and more! All ages are welcome, and each cleanup is limited to one “pod” — a group of up to 25 participants.

Our Cleanups
After participating in beach or neighborhood cleanups, people are not only more confident in their knowledge about environmental issues and more observant of marine life, but their actions lead to changes in behavior and a greater feeling of connection to the community around them.
Our Goals
- Engage local community groups in eco-activism.
- Bring awareness to plastic pollution and related environmental issues.
- Compliment online school programs with hands-on outdoor activities.
- Provide shared volunteerism experiences within the community.
- Provide a safe and educational experience for all participants.
- Provide a structured and age appropriate engagement.
