George is an award-winning author, Miami native, and former college professor; and currently serves as Resident Historian of the Museum of Miami (formerly HistoryMiami Museum), a Smithsonian Affiliate located in downtown Miami, where he engages Miami’s vibrant communities through stories of its layered past.
