The Key Biscayne Women’s Giving Circle is pleased to host their annual award ceremony celebrating the 2024 grant recipients at the Key Biscayne Yacht Club. Join us for an entertaining afternoon highlighting the great work Miami-Dade nonprofits are achieving.

The Key Biscayne Women’s Giving Circle is devoted to growing philanthropy among women, aiming to identify and financially support programs for women and children in need throughout greater Miami.

This year’s award ceremony will be held at the Key Biscayne Yacht Club on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 pm.

LEAP for Ladies empowers women who have experienced incarceration. They provide employment opportunities, housing, and support programs in prison and after release.

Lotus House

Lotus House

Lotus House is the country’s largest shelter for women and children, housing 1,550+ women, youth, and children annually. They provide housing, resources, and multi-faceted, comprehensive supportive services to help guests successfully exit the shelter system and lead lives of greater opportunity.

Miami Music Project uses music as an instrument for social transformation, empowering children to acquire values and achieve their full potential, positively affecting their society through the study and performance of music.

Miami Rescue Mission

Miami Rescue Mission

Miami Rescue Mission has served the homeless and needy of South Florida since 1922. The Miami-Dade and Broward Centers serve over 1,300 men, women, and children daily. In addition, there are approximately 800 people enrolled in its residential life-changing programs.

Catholic Charities

New Life Family Center

New Life Family Center is an emergency shelter serving homeless families in Miami-Dade County. While at the center, families receive information and referrals, housing case management, access to community resources, life skills training, continued education, and services for their children.

Project UPSTART

Project UPSTART

Project UPSTART supports the overall needs of students in unstable housing in Miami-Dade County to help ensure their successful academic achievement. The core of the program is to prevent children and youth in transition from being stigmatized, separated, segregated, or isolated.

Urban Oasis Project

Urban Oasis Project

Urban Oasis Project believes that good, clean, healthy food should be accessible to all. So they run farmers’ markets, plant gardens with low-income families, and support many local farms by bringing their produce to markets.
