AUG 7 | Annual National Lighthouse Day

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 @ 5:00 PM – ANNUAL NATIONAL LIGHTHOUSE DAY: It is the 200th anniversary of the first lighting of our historic Cape Florida Lighthouse! 

This event celebrates the island of Key Biscayne, Cape Florida, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, the historic landmark of the Lighthouse, the community that has the opportunity to enjoy it today. 

This is a free community event with music and refreshments.

Artist Guided Projects & Crafts: Join local artists and draw or sketch our historic icon. Craft projects for the entire family and all abilities.

Lighthouse Tours: Guests can climb the Lighthouse tower to enjoy the breath-taking views over the island, Miami, Stiltsville and beyond.

360 Virtual LH Tour: Guests will have the opportunity to experience the 360 Virtual Lighthouse Tour in our Mobile Museum Kiosk.

Tabeling with information on our Bird Banding Station, Turtle Program, Coral Research, Membership and Lighthouse Ambassadorships, and more.
