Program Overview
The Village of Key Biscayne’s Vocational Training and Life Skills
Program is designed to empower teens and young adults with unique abilities by providing the skills and experience needed to thrive in both personal and professional environments. This program focuses on enhancing participants’ independence, confidence, and employability through tailored vocational training and practical life skills education.
Participants will work closely with occupational therapist Marcela Teran from My Time to Shine Therapy Center and community partners, to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment. The program includes hands-on training, job readiness workshops, and personalized guidance to match each participant’s strengths and interests with potential employment opportunities.
