I have never been involved with ASK or other volunteer opportunities until I recently retired. Now I find myself paying it forward by volunteer work within KB Community.
My involvement includes: cooking for homeless (once a month for St. Agnes); Pickleball – introduced w/Ed Stone and now run weekly activity for ASK and KB seniors; certified Medicare counselor for KB residents (w/Bob Knecht); part time involved with KB 4th of July parade committee; and work as Election Inspector for KB districts during election time
I am proud to be able to assist in any little way as I believe we should participate and encourage ‘Volunteerism’ in our community.
