How to Help Post Irma: the following is a list of volunteer opportunities and donation needs.

Volunteer Opportunities

Bridge to Hope, 13295 SW 268th Street, Homestead 
Needs help with community outreach and sorting and distributing donations. Volunteers welcome daily 10 AM – 2 PM. Contact Vanessa Tinsley at 305 742 4122 with questions.

Farm Share, St. Justin’s Martyr Catholic Church, 105500 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037
Volunteers needed TODAY from 1PM- 6PM to help with food distribution to Key Largo Residents

Viscaya Museum and Gardens, 3251 S Miami Ave, Miami
Viscaya is seeking volunteers daily from 9 AM to 12 PM until further notice to help with debris and tree removal. Volunteers who stay for a 3 hour shift will be given a free family pass to be used when the property re-opens.

Fairchild Tropical Gardens, 10901 Old Cutler Rd, Coral Gables
Fairchild is seeking volunteers TODAY through Sunday, 9 AM- 12 PM. They ask that volunteers check in at the South Entrance before 9 AM and bring water bottles, hats, sunscreen, bug repellent, and any gardening tools and supplies you may have.

  • Diapers (especially Size 5 and 6)

  • Clothing (especially men clothing, baby clothing, and plus sizes)

  • Hand sanitizer
  • Bug repellent

Camillus House took in 229 additional clients this week.
