Citizen Scientist Lecture: Biscayne National Park’s IndoPacific Lionfish Threat

Join the Key Biscayne’s Citizen Scientist Project on Thursday, September 15th, 2016 at 7pm in the Key Biscayne Community Center’s Adult Lounge (2nd Floor) for this month’s lecture which will be Biscayne National Park’s IndoPacific Lionfish Threat by Lindsay Elam.
She is a graduate student at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science with a specific focus on Marine Conservation. She is a full-time lionfish intern at Biscayne National Park in Homestead. Her primary job is to help with the eradication of the highly invasive lionfish, by maintaining the park’s lionfish database and by scuba diving daily to remove them.
